The ground-floor café at Papa Hou on Rolleston Avenue, run by The Kind Foundation with proceeds going back into its community programmes. Cooked breakfast till 11.30, lunch after, cabinet food all day, 7am to 5pm seven days — right opposite the Botanic Gardens. A handy meeting spot either side of a Gardens walk.
