Italian without the clichés, over two levels at The Crossing on Cashel Street — a low-lit Negroni bar downstairs, an open-kitchen dining room upstairs where the pasta's rolled in view. Negronis stirred to order, spritzes by the tray, and a proper handmade-pasta menu to sit down to. Bar from 4 and kitchen from 5; good for a long dinner or just aperitivo at the bar.
