A patisserie cabinet at The Welder from a Brazilian-born pastry chef trained in French and Italian technique — glossy mini cakes, tarts, petit fours and a dark Belgian hot chocolate, with Brazilian notes in the flavours. Priced like the craft it is, in the old blacksmith's building on Welles Street. Good for an afternoon slice, or a birthday cake that's more than sponge and buttercream.
