A small neighbourhood cafe on the city's eastern fringe, where the pickle-and-cheese toastie is the reason to go. The counter is mostly good local makers — Prima coffee, Bellbird pastries, Butter cookies and cakes by Rebecca Nash — plus sandwiches made each morning. Openly dog-, gluten-free- and queer-friendly, daytime only, Tuesday to Sunday. Good for a slow weekday lunch with the dog.
