Thirty taps of independent New Zealand craft beer on The Terrace, right over the Avon. There's a sunny balcony out front and a glasshouse beer garden out the back, and it leans more gastro than most beer bars — NZ beef and lamb, sharing plates and burgers, with cocktails made from fresh ingredients and wine for the non-beer crowd. The crew know the list if you want steering, and it's picked up a Travellers' Choice award for the effort. Good for a long, unhurried afternoon working down the taps by the river.
